I had planned on doing a fan art for Reiner to celebrate his fictional birthday last August 1. Unfortunately, work got in the way, so I wasn’t able to finish it in time. Despite that, I wanted to make sure that I could still finish it before August ended. Thankfully, I did just that.
For this piece, I decided to pit Reiner against Connie once again, in a sort of rematch from their past encounter. But this time, it’s Reiner who’s dominating the match as the big dude displays his superior strength and built over his smaller opponent with an Argentine Backbreaker.
I chose the Argentine Backbreaker because it’s the closest move I could associate with my original plan, the F5 of Brock Lesnar. Plus, this is a move often associated with big wrestlers, and I thought it would work well in the dynamic between Connie and Reiner.
This piece is also the first time that I’ve used the new logo for Attack on Pro-Wrestling. For more than a year, the logo I have been using was derived from a piece by Neoro-Chan of DeviantArt. With the ongoing progress of my fan art and the opening of my new site, I felt that it was about time to use a more original logo. I do hope that it looks good.

After doing birthday tributes for Eren and Jean, I decided to expand further on the pro-wrestling themed birthday tributes to other Attack on Titan characters. As such, Connie Springer is the recipient of this tribute today in honor of his own fictional birthday (May 2).
For this piece, I decided to draw him locking Reiner with the Ankle Lock submission move. I chose Reiner as his opponent mainly because of the close friendship that the two guys have. Plus, I can’t really imagine any other opponents for Connie to have an entertaining match-up.
I thought that the Ankle Lock was the most logical move for the small Connie to use on the huge Reiner. If I’m not mistaken, the Ankle Lock becomes more dangerous if you have a big leg, because it gives the attacker more leverage to do the move. I wonder if they’ll ever use that piece of information in the next fight scenes in the manga.

In celebration of Eren Yeager’s fictional birthday on March 30, as well as the Wrestlemania season, I decided to draw this piece. To shake things up, I decided to put him against Reiner Braun.
The move here is called the Sol Naciente, which is essentially a straight jacket triangle choke. This is a submission hold often used by Masato Yoshino, a pro-wrestler from Dragon Gate. I chose this move because I thought it looked pretty cool and unique. Aside from that, I have wanted to try drawing this unique yet complex move a few years ago, so I’m glad to have finally done so.
At the moment, there are no plans to expand further on this. I’m a bit more focused with Pro-Wrestling MAJOR and other planned projects. However, you are always welcome to give constructive feedback.
