A month ago, I asked DeviantArt artist 09tuf if I could try to color his pro-wrestling drawing of Ben Tennyson and Kevin Levin. Even though there have been two colored versions released already, I wanted to try if I could also make something nice out of it myself. Thankfully, he gave me permission.

Some changes were made from the original lineart, mainly to make this more suitable for a more general audience. I’m glad that this looked better than I imagined.

Drawing Ben 10 characters in a pro-wrestling setting is something I kinda considered at some point, but I couldn’t really find a good reason to push through with it. I ain’t a fan of the series, though I do recognize how immensely popular it grew to be since it first aired. After seeing 09tuf’s designs for Ben, Kevin, and even Rex ofGenerator Rex, I might just consider doing some matches in the future. (Of course, my top priority are the pro-wrestling AUs I’ve already set-up.)

Also, when I asked 09tuf about this, Ares-the-war-god reacted: “SAYS THE MAN WHO DOESN’T DRAW BEARHUGS *cry*” Well, I may not have drawn bearhugs, but don’t lose hope! It’s all about finding the right time and opportunity. Besides, when you have a ton of other pro-wrestling moves that have never been illustrated yet, why stick with this move?
