Hayato Yaginuma vs. Roy (Just Facelock)

Extra Notes
As I mentioned in the past, I’ve always thought Hayato Yaginuma was an underused character in MAJOR. As such, I wanted to explore more possibilities with this character. I’ve already turned him into a pro-wrestler a few months ago. Now it’s time to take it up a notch and put him in a match.
I chose the Just Facelock move because of how simple yet effective it is. I mean, the name says it — just a facelock.
As for Hayato’s opponent, I opted to use Roy, another character from MAJOR. I chose him because I also wanted to put him in a match, and seeing a match between these two bright-haired guys seemed cool. In a way, you could say this is Roy’s debut in Pro-Wrestling MAJOR. Even though he’s only the losing end in this “debut”, you can expect him to be fighting back at some point.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this piece.

Extra Notes:
Hayato Yaginuma is an underused character in MAJOR. He was visible in Season 4, and was part of a key plot point in the story. Heck, you could even see his name in an Anime News Network article while more popular MAJOR characters don’t get a mention there. But after a while, he wasn’t used too often because of a little development in the story.
I thought it was such a shame. He was an interesting character for me, and I would’ve wanted his story to be explored further. In that sense, he was like Shigeharu Honda to me; a character that I like, but had really few appearances in the show. So just like Shigeharu Honda, I decided to turn him into a pro-wrestler.
I’ve always wanted to try putting Ginumachi (as Goro would call him) in the Pro-Wrestling MAJOR universe. I even had to wait until Goro vs. Toshi would end before I could proceed with posting this, so as not to disrupt the continuity in the illustration series.
His role in the alternate universe would probably be more of a mid-card level guy or a jobber. But it would be fun to put him in matches against the other stars of the fictional promotion.
Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy this piece.
